Pellets and Granules: If you
have received a single dose in a paper packet along with a vial, take
the contents of the single dose first as directed. Dissolve the granules
or pellets in your mouth (either on top or under your tongue) 30
minutes apart from food or drink. Water, however, is okay to drink
closer to taking the remedy. Begin the daily dose (usually 20X) the
following day. 15 minutes apart from food/drink is adequate. The daily
dose may be taken at any and variable times of day. If you forget some
days not to worry; simply resume.
Liquid (LM) Potencies: If you have received a dropper bottle of an LM (50 millesimal) potency from Hahnemann Laboratories, follow the instructions enclosed with the remedy. Take the remedy daily.
Plussing: If you have been instructed to plus your remedy, do so as follows. Never plus your remedy unless specifically directed to do so.
Plussing Method: (Cancer patients only) Dilute one half capful of remedy #1 in eleven teaspoons of distilled water. Use a glass, or preferably a glass jar with a lid. Sip one teaspoon every 15 minutes. Between each dose the water is gently stirred or, if in a jar, shaken once. Take ten teaspoons over the course of approximately two and half-hours and reserve the last teaspoon for the next day. The next day add ten teaspoons of fresh distilled water to the original mixture (but not any fresh remedy) and the process is repeated. The procedure continues for seven days-after which remedy #2 is used with the same procedure. One week later the procedure begins anew with remedy #1, so that the remedies alternate each week.
Remember to only put remedy in the water on the first day of each weekly prescription. At the end of the week one finishes off the preparation and begins with a fresh supply. Keep the glass or jar in the refrigerator. Use two different glasses or jars for the remedy #1 and #2. Each remedy should have its own glass or jar.
It is very important to keep strictly to the directions above. If strict adherence to the fifteen-minute intervals is impossible, it is preferable to shorten the time between the ten doses rather than omit a dose (although there is no harm if one dose in the midst of the ten is slightly late).
The ten doses cannot be split up during different parts of the day. For example it is not permissible to take half in the morning and half in the evening. But it is fine to vary the time of day; for example the ten doses are taken Monday evening and then again Tuesday morning.
No food should be eaten during the two and half-hours of taking the medicine. It's best to avoid food also for 30 minutes before and after.
What happens if, due to circumstances beyond my control, I skip a day, or even two?
It need not be crucial. But you should get back on schedule immediately-and should not make a habit of skipping even one day. The only legitimate days the remedies can be skipped are those on which chemotherapy or radiation therapy is administered.
